How do I wash them?

Easy! Here's all you need to know:

Give them a quick rinse under cold water first. Then toss them in the washing machine, with like colors for activewear, on cold with a mild detergent. No softener or bleach. For drying, it depends on what you've got: lay flat to dry for medium absorbency underwear and all activewear, or tumble dry on low for high to super absorbency underwear. That's it, no ironing needed!

How does the leakproof technology work?

Our patented leakproof tech is built right into the liner of our period underwear and activewear, and it does a lot of heavy lifting in a seriously thin package. Three super thin layers work together to wick away moisture, absorb blood, sweat, and discharge fast, and keep everything locked in so nothing leaks out. The result? Your teen can squat, sprint, stretch, and move however they want, no peek-a-boo tampon strings, no bulky pad seams, no worrying about leaks.

What do the absorbency levels mean?

Heavy: Absorbs the equivalent of 4–7 super tampons. Great for overnight or the heaviest days when swapping into a fresh pair isn't always an option.

Moderate: Absorbs about 2.5 super tampons' worth. A solid go-to for medium flow days, discharge, and sweat.

Light: Absorbs about 1 regular tampon's worth. Perfect for spotting, lightest days, discharge, and sweat.

Do I need to wear a pad or tampon as backup?

Honestly, that's for your teen to decide, they know their flow and comfort level better than anyone. But here's a general guide:

The Leakproof Active Legging and Leakproof Active Short both have a built-in liner with the holding power of 2 super tampons, so many teens wear them on their own without any backup.

For the Leakproof Leotard and Leakproof Tights, we recommend pairing them with a tampon or menstrual cup on medium to heavy days. On lighter days? They've got it covered solo.
